In the midst of the coronavirus crisis, who knows when the college board will resume testing. They’ve cancelled SAT tests for the spring, and the fall is anyone’s guess. But one thing is certain: they will eventually. While it may seem a remote consideration at the moment, kids in high school will eventually want to get into college, and the entrance protocols will be, at the least, very similar to what they were pre-covid19. While many kids have a lot of free time right now with limited academic offerings, it is an excellent opportunity to work on testing that I fear many are not taking advantage of. Now more than ever, kids need more of a structure to guide them, with preoccupied parents and copious distractions. Emerging from this thing in a strong position, particularly for rising juniors and seniors, is key. Now is the time to take advantage!
