Nothing on this Site constitutes a guarantee of any particular academic outcome, test score, or admissions result.

Communications, newsletters, and mailing lists

If you submit your contact details through a form on this Site, we will use them to respond to your inquiry and may share relevant updates about our services. You may opt out of newsletters and marketing email at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in each email or by contacting us directly. Alliance Tutoring works with students, many of whom are minors, and takes the protection of minors’ privacy seriously. Client relationships are established with a parent or legal guardian, who provides any information about a minor student during onboarding. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 through this website. In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information through the website, please contact us and we will honor your request to erase that information.

General conditions

Alliance Tutoring reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any lawful reason.

These terms, and any claim concerning the Alliance Tutoring website, will be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

If a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these Terms of Use to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights or provisions.

Dispute resolution

To expedite resolution and reduce the cost of any dispute or claim arising from your use of the Alliance Tutoring website or these Terms of Use, you and Alliance Tutoring agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute through informal negotiation for at least thirty (30) days before pursuing any other remedy. Informal negotiation begins upon written notice from one party to the other.

If the dispute is not resolved through informal negotiation, you and Alliance Tutoring agree that it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters relating to intellectual property or unauthorized access.
